Fits into your existing workflow
FutureFolio was designed to slot into your existing workflow, and builds upon industry standards to minimise disruption.
For creating enhanced digital replicas, you can add interactivity to your PDFs using your current tools (e.g. Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat or QuarkXPress) and preview the results on a tablet. If you want to include movies, you can either include them with your issue or have them streamed from your web server, which helps minimise download time.
When you want to go fully interactive, you’ll be pleased to know that FutureFolio Creator’s native file format is XML, which means it’s easy to get content into and out of the system. It also integrates with content sharing systems such as Dropbox, allowing several members of your team to work on the same page at the same time.

With 360 degree photo shoots, video recording and editing, extra layout, testing of pages and more, there are already enough extra costs attached to making an interactive edition for tablets. We’ve designed FutureFolio to reduce several key costs:
- Our templates encapsulate not only the content and layout that you’ve made,
but also all the interactivity you’ve attached – this means you can test your template fully and be sure that all pages created from it work as intended. - You can create a page designed for iPad portrait, then have FutureFolio remap
that page to an iPad landscape template – or even an iPhone template. This maximises your reach without ongoing investment. - Production staff have a dedicated tool, FutureFolio Editor, that lets them amend text on a page without treading on its design and interactivity.
